History
Leesa Sleep was founded in 2014 with its headquarters located in Virginia Beach, VA. In 2015, the company raised $9 million from private equity firm TitleCard Capital to expand its frontiers beyond the US including Canada. The same year, Leesa started production in the United Kingdom as part of its European expansion plans.
In 2016, Leesa opened its first retail store, the Leesa Dream Gallery in SoHo, Manhattan in partnership with ArtLifting. The same year, Leesa Sleep was named the official mattress of the Washington Redskins. It also established partnership with decorated athletes Michael Phelps and Aly Raisman.
